Special Education Advisory Committee

The SEAC provides families with information about the instruction and programming of students with disabilities and resources in the community.  The SEAC responsibilities include:

  • Advise on special education related topics including the needs of students with disabilities
  • Represent students with disabilities and the impact of educational decisions made on their behalf
  • Serve as a conduit of information between district and families
  • Educate members and families on special education topics
  • Inform members of proposed legislation concerning special education
  • Share success stories while maintaining confidentiality
