The ACT, an achievement-based test scored on a 1-36 point scale, is now administered to all eleventh-grade students in the State of Colorado. The ACT and SAT tests are nationally-normed tests designed to predict how college and university-bound students would be expected to fare during their first one or two years in a college/university academic setting.
The results shown in the graph below include all students who took the 2007 State of Colorado ACT, and any students who took the National ACT after the state-administered ACT.
