MountainNet
What is MountainNet?
MountainNet consists of a wide-area network (WAN) connecting all buildings in the Cheyenne Mountain School District. Each building in the district is connected to the CMSD Tech Center via a 100Mbps link, and all sites share a 100Mbps link to the Internet.
All buildings in the district utilize Ethernet local-area networks (LANs) to connect all classrooms and offices to the wide-area network. In addition to networked labs and media centers in the school buildings, every classroom in the Cheyenne Mountain School District also has at least one, and in most cases more than one multimedia computer with access to building, district, and Internet resources.
