Cheyenne Mountain School District was selected as one of the top 100 public school districts in the nation.

Offspring magazine (Sept/Oct. 2000 issue) enlisted *SchoolMatch to do an exclusive analysis of the15,892 school districts nationwide, ranking them according to academic performance (SAT & ACT Exams), the number of merit scholarships produced since 1985, and the number of students taking college entrance exams. They also examined academic expenditures per student ranking each district by money actually spent in the classroom. Geographical and socioeconomic factors were also part of the study.

*SchoolMatch is an educational research and data firm specializing in rating schools (K-12) by using auditable data.
