Reservations can only be made up to 2 days out from the current day in advance, any reservations made further out than that will be deleted

  • Mask rules will be strictly enforced, your mask will be taken off just before entering the water and put back on upon exiting the water
  • Follow all social distancing guidelines in at out of the water, being sure to stay 6 feet from others at all times
  • All swimmers must shower before arriving
  • NO SHOWERING AT THE POOL
  • No food or eating at the pool. Bring a full water bottle with you
  • All reservations will be for one hour and 15 minutes. 
  • When a reservation is made the number it is is your lane you will swim in. 
  • If you need to cancel your reservation please contact 719-227-7665 or text to 719-499-0822 or you can cancel by clicking on "no" on the email you receive from google
  • If you no call no show more than twice any reservations you make will be canceled for two weeks
  • Go to our google calendar with links on our website to make a reservation at the top of this page and our calendar page
  • When you arrive at the pool the guard at the desk will check for your reservation and assign you a lane. 
  • CMAC reserves the right to amend these guidelines as needed

Please remember that the lifeguards make minimum wage and are enforcing the rules that we need to stay open. They are just doing their jobs, please keep this in mind while they do so.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    New Information!

    • The new pool times and availability are specifically on the calendar.
    • Lane usage is by reservation only HERE
    • If there is a wait your workout will be limited to an hour
    • It is one swimmer per lane (unless related)
    • There will be no facility training aids available
    • Please arrive in your suit
    • Only swimmers allowed on the pool deck, no spectators allowed
     

    Lifeguard Certifications

    Prerequisites for this class include a 300 yard swim, timed water tread without hands and a timed brick reteval.

    Lifeguard Certification almost expired?

    This class is only for currently Red Cross certified lifeguards our those whose certification is less than 30 day expired. If your certification is more than 30 days expired you must take the full class again.

    This course if for currently certified Red Cross lifeguard who have been certified for at least a year and will turn 17 by the last day of the class. You will be required to perform your lifeguard skills for the instructor as a prerequisite for the instructor before you are admitted into the class.  

    Water Safety Instructor Training

    To participate in the Water Safety Instructor course, individuals must: 

    Be at least 16 years of age on or before the final scheduled lesson of this course. 

    Demonstrate the ability to perform the following swimming skills: 

    1. Swim the following strokes consistent with the Stroke Performance Charts which will be provided on the day of. 

    • Front crawl—25 yards 
    • Back crawl—25 yards 
    • Breaststroke—25 yards 
    • Elementary backstroke—25 yards 
    • Sidestroke—25 yards 
    • Butterfly—15 yards 

    2. Maintain position on back for 1 minute in deep water (floating or sculling). 

    3. Tread water for 1 minute.
