Elevate

D-12 Families Helping D-12 Families

Elevate is run by District 12 parents, community members, and administrators who volunteer their time.  Our mission is to support students and their families within the Cheyenne Mountain School District who are experiencing food insecurity or are having trouble buying the basics such as school supplies and winter coats.

We work in conjunction with the PTOs, volunteers, and the district’s community liasion and counselors to supply food to high school students during the day, fill backpacks with food for elementary students for the weekend, as well as take care of emergency needs for students and families such as gas cards and school supplies.

100% of donations go directly to help District 12 students and their families in need.

Volunteer or Donate

Donate

Elevate is funded solely by donations, which include community members, parents, the local faith-based community, and the public sector. Since all of our work is done by volunteers, 100% of donations go towards food and services.

You can make a monetary donation on ELEVATE's gofundme site by clicking here.

Volunteer

Elevate is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to support your District 12 neighbors in need, please contact the District 12 Community Liaison at (719) 499-4913.

Elevate Backpacks

The Elevate Backpack program is run completely by volunteers within the District.  Volunteers buy food and fill backpacks with enough for a healthy dinner and snacks to get families through the weekend when there is no school lunch.  To volunteer or donate to the Elevate Backpack program, please call parent volunteer Monica Grage at 719-331-2270.

Elevate Cupboard

The Cupboard is located at Cheyenne Mountain High School and is available to students who are experiencing food insecurity at home.  It is stocked with healthy grab-and-go snacks as well as lunch items.

Elevate Now

Elevate Now was established to serve the immediate needs that arise in our schools, such as a student who needs a warm coat, a new pair of shoes, fees, or school supplies.
