Happy Veterans Day, CMHS community! We were honored to host Colonel Eric Ahnfeldt, an army surgeon and graduate of CMHS, for our assembly this morning. A special thank you to our choir, band, StuCo, custodians, and tech department for making today possible. And, a sincere thank you to everyone who has served!
This past weekend CMHS hosted nearly 325 competitors from 25 schools for a CHSAA Speech & Debate Tournament. Eva McFarland & Koen Beaver took first in Public Forum (PF) debate. Also placing in PF were Simi Yarlagadda & Meghna Nair in 5th and Ashlyn Beaver & Alexis Jain in 6th. Third place finishers were Vivienne Dees in US extemporaneous speaking and the duo acting team of Sydney Gallardo and Piper Nichols. Kristen Haubrich placed 6th in drama. Congratulations to all our students and a huge thank you to Ms. Koop and Ms. Crow!
