Recently our CMHS Robotics Team, Team Elevation, competed in their 3rd and final competition for the 2026 season. Our student-led team finished 3rd at the Denver Regional Competition! This is a huge accomplishment for a 2nd year team when many of the teams they were competing against have been competing for 20-30 years. Congratulations, Hawks!

CMHS Spring Production… TIG: a modern retelling of the Greek tragedy Antigone. Congratulations…WAIT! We mean, “Break a leg” to our cast and crew.
Please note that this production is rated PG-13 due to mature themes…after all, it is based on a Greek tragedy!

Cheyenne Mountain Shadows Chorale sang beautifully at the state choral festival yesterday, receiving high superior scores from all vocal judges! Congratulations!

Thank you Boosters for setting up High Five Fridays as a way to connect our high school athletes with our elementary students around the district. This past week our baseball team went to CME, girls soccer was at BME, and boys lacrosse was at the Jr High.

A special should out to RJ Huebner for earning the Ovation Award!

The results are in for the 2026 El Paso County High School Photography Competition. The contest yielded 196 images, from 57 students, and 7 different high schools.
