  • In order to serve more community members and increase our capacity we will be ending our lap lane reservation system. This will allow more than 8 lap swimmers to use the pool at a time.

  • This change is in lieu of Varsity Girls Swim Team Season using the pool during the afternoon open lap swim time.

  • Sharing Lanes will be expected. Please remember to be polite and considerate to all users of the aquatic facility.

  • We only accept cash or check payable to CMAC

  • CMAC reserves the right to amend these guidelines as needed

     and without notification

  • Please use cell contact number out of hours for emergencies only.

Water Aerobics

We offer a shallow water aerobics class. This group is in the water Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:00-9:00am. You do not need to reserve a lane to come and participate.

Birthday Parties at CMAC!

Host your child's next birthday party here at the pool!

Includes 1 diving board and private party room for 2 hours, birthday certificate for 2 hours. This is up to 12 swimmers, $3 for each additional swimmer.

Inclement Weather

~The pool follows the district for weather issues. If District 12 calls a 2-hour delay the pool will open at 11:00 am and all reservations prior to that will be canceled. 

~If the district is closed so is the pool and all reservations will be canceled for that day.

~Check HERE for possible delays and cancellations

~If we suspect a delay, or closure. We will implement  a "2-hour delay". Ensuring staff and patrons do not need to travel in unsafe conditions. This call will happen the night before.

~Please check your reservations on your calendar or your email prior to your visit.

Lifeguard Certifications

Do you want to become a Lifeguard?

Our next Lifeguard class will be March 24th-28th from 8am-1pm.

A ReCert will be offered March 26th-28th from 8am-1pm.

If you are interested, stop by the pool and speak to Mr. Lang or call 719-499-0822

Prerequisites for this class include 200 yard swim-tread-swim sequence and a timed brick retrieval. Participants must be 15 years old to attend the class.

Prerequisites:

Be at least 16 years of age on or before the final scheduled lesson of this course. 

Demonstrate the ability to perform the following swimming skills: 

1. Swim the following strokes consistent with the Stroke Performance Charts which will be provided on the day of. 

  • Front crawl—25 yards 

  • Back crawl—25 yards 

  • Breaststroke—25 yards 

  • Elementary backstroke—25 yards 

  • Sidestroke—25 yards 

  • Butterfly—15 yards 

2. Maintain position on back for 1 minute in deep water (floating or sculling). 

3. Tread water for 1 minute.
