C-A-T-A-S-T-R-O-P-H-E? Not quite. More like H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. The CMHS Fine Arts Dept. presents the un-bee-lieveable musical comedy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Black Box Theatre Nov. 11-14, 2026!
Six spellers. One coveted trophy. Four different surprise guests from the CMHS community joining us onstage for each show. Expect high stakes, big heart, and lots of laughs! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a fast-spoken, wildly funny, and surprisingly touching musical comedy about the outsiders inside all of us. Featuring a riotous score, spellbinding laughs, and real audience members (CM Admin, Teachers, and Students!) joining the cast on stage each night, no two shows are ever the same.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $5 for ages 8 and younger.
The play is rated PG13 (Themes: Puberty, Social Issues, Political Issues, Religion)
