
Jami Seabolt planned an outstanding and well-attended STEAM Night! The evening gave our Skyway families the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities together. Thank you to Mrs. Seabolt and to all of our Skyway staff and families who helped out or participated. What a memorable and meaningful event this was!

Skyway kicks off its 17th annual Sky's the Limit Marathon.

Alex Bjork, Skyway parent and senior director for World Wildlife Fund, talked with Skyway first and second graders about the importance of the rainforests, maintaining biodiversity, what deforestation means for all of us and jump-started the kids' rainforest research this week.

Ms. Leah Lowe hosted the BME art show to a packed house! Face & rock painting, along with 100s of student masterpieces made the evening an engaging event for everyone.

A busy morning of learning at CMJH...




CMHS Advanced Health class, with teacher Susan Roberts, visited the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center this morning as an extension of lessons on making positive choices and consequences of risky behavior. Their tour included intake, inmate living conditions, and day to day life while detained. Students also learned what is needed to prepare for a career in law enforcement. An eye opening day for sure!


High School Chemistry textbooks are on display for public comment in the upstairs conference room at the central administration office. Three options will be available for review until Friday, March 24th. A formal recommendation for adoption will be made to the BOE this spring.


A big 'thank you' to the CMHS Rotary Interact Club for putting together care packages for the homeless in our community!
