D12 made an impactful showing at the Colorado Education Recruitment Fair outside Denver today and interviewed a couple dozen potential teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. Positions are currently posted at CMSD12.org.
Crimson & Slate ...On Friday night, CMHS hosted a show 20 years in the making of Mountain A cappella talent. Current and previous members of our vocal program entertained a packed house and warmed our hearts with stories that connect us all through music!

Jami Seabolt planned an outstanding and well-attended STEAM Night! The evening gave our Skyway families the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities together. Alex Bjork, Skyway parent and senior director for World Wildlife Fund, talked with Skyway first and second graders about the importance of the rainforests, maintaining biodiversity, what deforestation means for all of us and jump-started the kids' rainforest research this week.

A busy morning of learning at CMJH...
CMHS Advanced Health class, with teacher Susan Roberts, visited the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center this morning as an extension of lessons on making positive choices and consequences of risky behavior. Their tour included intake, inmate living conditions, and day to day life while detained. Students also learned what is needed to prepare for a career in law enforcement. An eye opening day for sure!
